Prodigy Revisits Summer Jam Pic

Jay infamously flashed a picture of Prodigy of Mobb Deep at Hot 97's Summer Jam that year--and the image featured P as a youngster in a sparkly jacket looking decidedly un-gangsta. Prodigy spoke about that image and its origins in a recent interview. "That came from my grandmother’s program," Prodigy explained. "Every year, she did a concert at Carnegie Hall in Lincoln Center and she would do this program booklet for the families and kids that were in the school." "Of course, she had her grandson in there and I thought I was Michael Jackson back in the day, so I had my Mike getup on and all of that," he says. "That’s where that picture came from."
