Biggie Musical Producers Charged With TheftAlfred "Paper Love" Green and producer Reheim Pope, the men behind the Notorious B.I.G.-inspired musical "Ready 2 Die," are facing larceny charges after stealing over $800 from a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Pope faces charges of fifth-degree larceny, fifth decry conspiracy to commit larceny, and interfering with an officer. He was released after posting a $5,000 appearance bond. Green is being charged with fifth-degree criminal attempt at larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.
The musical has yet to open, despite its initial scheduled opening for March of 2012.
Books that were allegedly stolen included R. Kelly's biography and nine sets of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.
