Coolio's Son Heading To PrisonGrtis Ivey (also known as Artis Ivey, Jr.), eldest son of veteran rapper Coolio, will be going to prison for at least three-and-a-half years after pleading guilty to a felony robbery charge. Prosecutors agreed to drop the four remaining felony charges the 22-year old faced in exchange for his guilty plea. He will be formally sentenced on September 12th.
The three-and-a-half years is the minimum sentence--Ivey could face as much as 10 years in prison.
Ivey was arrested in Nevada after he and a Las Vegas prostitute robbed a man at gunpoint. He and Shantrice Wilkerson reportedly broke into the victim's apartment and held him hostage as they ransacked his home.
Ivey appeared on Coolio's 2008 reality show, "Coolio's Rules."
