Miami Heat Star's Custody Battle Takes Ugly Twist 6:00AM ET June 20th, 2012 Contributor : Rayna Dean A Rocky Williform Company Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade wanted to spend Father's Day with his sons, Zaire and Zion. But things didn't go as planned this past weekend. Wade has temporary full custody of the boys but his ex-wife Siohvaughn had them for the weekend--and she apparently didn't want to return them to their father.
Cook County Sheriff's spokesman Frank Bilecki told The AP that Siohvaughn Funches-Wade was charged with misdemeanor charges--two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest, after what took place this weekend. Siohvaughn didn't take the boys to Dwyane's sister in Chicago on Saturday at the agreed upon time. Wade's sister called the sheriff to check on Siohvaughn's home after she wasn't able to get an answer via phone. According to filings, Siohvaughn attempted to leave the home with one of the kids as the Sheriff's department arrived.
Another woman and friend of Siohvaughn's, Nadgee Alarcon, was also at the home and was charged with resisting arrest. Dwyane Wade chartered a jet to get the boys back to Miami, and his eldest son reportedly told him that Alarcon struck him in the head.
