Officers Sold Image of Battered Singer To the Media

 A lawsuit against two officers that sold the infamous photo of Rihanna's battered face after her 2009 altercation with then-boyfriend Chris Brown has been dropped. An internal report by prosecutors says that, after a three-year investigation, there have enough evidence to show celebrity news website TMZ paid the accused officers for the photo.
It became virtually impossible to charge the two officers, Bianca Lopez and Rebecca Reyes.
Lopez and Reyes will however be going before disciplinary panels in August over the infraction. |
