Big Hutch Sues Dr. Dre, Eve

''I Was A Key In Helping Eve Create A Hit'' 1:30PM ET June 22nd, 2012 Contributor : Martin James A Rocky Williform Company West Coast pioneer Big Hutch has filed a lawsuit against legendary producer Dr. Dre, Aftermath Records, rapper Eve, and Ruff Ryder Records over Eve's 1999 single, “Love Is Blind.” Hutch claims he was hired to produce Eve as an up-and-coming artist and claims that he co-wrote the song. He also claims that when Eve, who was initially affiliated with Aftermath, transitioned to Ruff Ryders, there was no resolution provided for his compensation. “I’m not trying to take away from what EVE has done, but I was a key in helping EVE create a hit record,” Hutch said. Hutch was also signed to Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records as a member of celebrated gangsta rap group Above The Law.
