William Balfour Found Guilty

Verdict Announced In Hudson Family Murders 8:30PM ET May 11th, 2012 Contributor : Stephen Willis A Rocky Williform Company William Balfour has been found guilty of murdering the mother, brother and nephew of Oscar-winning actress/singer Jennifer Hudson. Balfour now faces life in prison following the verdict, which came on the heels of two days of deliberation. Balfour was convicted of first degree murder, home invasion and residential burglary. Reportedly, Hudson burst into tears when the verdict was read. The star had attended every day of the trial. Balfour was the estranged husband of Hudson's sister and had threatened to kill his wife's family due to jealousy and marital issues. The Hudson family murders took place in late 2009.
