''Those 15 Minutes Are Almost Up...'' 9:00PM ET July 12th, 2012 Contributor : Monica Coleman A Rocky Williform Company In a recent interview, Christina Milian seemed to blast her ex-husband The-Dream and his nonchalant approach towards fatherhood. It looks like The-Dream got wind of Milian's criticisms [Christina Milian Frustrated With The-Dream] and didn't take things too kindly.
"Love You too. Those 15 minutes are almost up though boo!" the hitmaker tweeted. "Has Been!"
"Publicity Stunt. Are people really this Stupid?" he continued later. "If I had a serious issue concerning care for a loved one. I’d call the source…"
The-Dream went so far as to call Milian's motives for marrying him into question.
"She had a plan to come up before she met me I called her on it. Go digging for gold u might find it," he tweeted. "But its hard to carry that much weight."
The superproducer called into Philly's Hot 107.9 to speak to Q Deezy but wouldn't talk about the controversy--at least not at first.
"No, I don’t wish to say nothing about it. It is what it is," he said initially, before revealing that he hadn't spoken to his ex-wife in a while. "I emailed her several times, she hasn’t emailed me back."
When discussing her recent signing to Cash Money Records, The-Dream said that she's changed in the wake of joining the label. "She’s a different person since she signed though," he said.
"We have kids that are involved in a different way, so the things that we say come back to them. So it’s more people than myself. So I can’t just get out and say whatever it is I wanna say," he continued. "I’m quite sure that everybody knows that I have a way with words and if I wanted to say everything that I wanted to say, it would be devastating to a lot of people. I just choose not to do that. What’s the point?"
"When things are real, when it comes to down to children in a household or if you got a problem with somebody, you pick up the phone and call them," he said. "If I ain’t got a phone call, that means that somebody’s on something else. I can’t do nothing about that."
"I wish Christina the best on her debut and hopefully her career takes off and she gets exactly what she deserves," he added.
Of course, Christina responded to The-Dream afterwards. She didn't say his name specifically, but addressed the issue via Twitter.
"Don’t listen to lies from LIARS. I wish sometimes I could really let everyone know what I know," she tweeted. "StayBlessed. I got God on my side. All I need."
