New Orleans-born rapper Mystikal has been released from East Baton Rouge Parish Jail after serving a little over two months. The former star was sentenced to 81 days initially; for violating his probation earlier this year with a domestic abuse arrest.
He was released from state prison back in 2010 after serving six years for sexual battery and extortion.
Mystikal was working on his comeback album when he was involved in a domestic abuse situation in February. He was charged with a misdemeanor but the arrest violated his probation, resulting in his return to incarceration. |
