Rapper Won't Be Playing Himself In Biopic 2:00PM ET June 4th, 2012 Contributor : Martin James A Rocky Williform Company As the upcoming biopic about late hip hop star Ol' Dirty Bastard continues to take shape, details have emerged indicating that ODB's fellow Wu-Tang Clan members would be appearing as themselves in the flick. Michael K. Williams, star of "The Wire" and "Boardwalk Empire," will be starring as Dirty, but Clan member GZA dismissed any notion that he would be appearing as himself in the film.
"Spoke to GZA today. I will tell you 100% he is not appearing in the ODB / Jarred Weisfeld movie," a rep for the rapper said. "I can't speak for the rest of the group, but definitely not true about GZA."
The film, Dirty White Boy, has no official release date as of yet.
