The former Cash Money Records rapper released a statement through his rep Tracey Smith addressing the situation. "I am relieved I found out what my fate was yesterday because I was facing 30 years and my case kept getting pushed back," the statement reads. "I am just ready to get my sentence started because it's not RIP BG it's FREE BG ... I feel happy and blessed that I will still be a young man and still be able to see daylight because I am someone, a dad, a brother and a son." "I will have upcoming music that will be released while I am away," he added.

A Rocky Williform Company Alfred "Paper Love" Green and producer Reheim Pope, the men behind the Notorious B.I.G.-inspired musical "Ready 2 Die," are facing larceny charges after stealing over $800 from a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Pope faces charges of fifth-degree larceny, fifth decry conspiracy to commit larceny, and interfering with an officer. He was released after posting a $5,000 appearance bond. Green is being charged with fifth-degree criminal attempt at larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny. The musical has yet to open, despite its initial scheduled opening for March of 2012. Books that were allegedly stolen included R. Kelly's biography and nine sets of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.

Rapper Brawled With Photographers In NYC 1:30PM ET July 20th, 2012 Contributor : Martin James A Rocky Williform Company Rapper A$AP Rocky was arrested early Friday (July 20th) morning in New York City. Rocky was reportedly involved in a fight with photographers. He had gotten into a heated argument and noticed that he was being witnessed and photographed by several onlookers. According to reports, Rocky and another person were being photographed by two men. A$AP realized that pictures were being taken and reportedly began fighting with the photographers. The two men received cuts and bruises from the altercation and one of them was reportedly hospitalized. It has not yet been revealed what Rocky is being charged with.

A Rocky Williform Company Early this morning (July 20th), a young man reportedly opened fire inside a packed Aurora, CO movie theater during a showing of the new blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises. The suspect is 24-year-old Aurora resident James Holmes, and he is believed to have shot at least 14 people dead and wounded dozens more--as many as 71. He was arrested in the parking lot of the Century 16 Movie Theaters; he claimed he had explosive devices in his apartment, which led to evacuation of buildings in the area. After the horrific story made national headlines, several in the hip hop community voiced their condolences and outrage. "Not happy about the babies being lost. Toronto, Chicago, & Colorado!," tweeted Ghostface Killah. Superproducer Just Blaze shared his disgust, as well. "Don't believe in the death penalty," he tweeted. "But put that dude in Colorado under the jail forever with nothing of the pics of those he killed." "Incident in Colorado movie theater is crazy! And very sad. Pray for the victims and their families," Masta Ace tweeted. President Barack Obama issued a statement on the tragedy. "Michelle and I are shocked and saddened by the horrific and tragic shooting in Colorado," the president's statement reads. "Federal and local law enforcement are still responding, and my Administration will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time. We are committed to bringing whoever was responsible to justice, ensuring the safety of our people, and caring for those who have been wounded.
